Was thinking back to kindergarten, junior school, mechina and yeshiva gedolah and random memories came to me:
- "Malochim" chucking sweets at us wrapped in a tallis in reception.
- Meyer Raymond laying flat on the floor in middle of the paygroung sobbing.
- Zwiebels hidings from Rabbi Chayton in class 2
- Yossi (i think) with 5 bad stars and kicked out of class for "nivel peh", again in class 2.
- Someone putting another lock on Johns cleaning cupboard (by the door to the playground).
- Bronsteins coffee.
- My story with the vet!
- Chayton teaching both our class and the class above with Sholi Silver! (what did he say? watever it was it was the highlight of the next few months)
- Milk time line up on the step.
- Menachem Howard on Yossi's bike - ouch!
- Wood work room raid.
- "Fine tip" pens in the toilet writing investigation.
- Table tennis in the basement.
There are so many more. I thought it would be funny to see what you would come up with. Post your short memories that you remember as a comment.
To add:
- V'gapo aleyn on di goyeshe froy in ire goyeshe kinder.
- Sholly Silver said about a 500 line knas, that he will bring it tomorrow "If I remember. Chayton blew it. If I remember?!?!?!? He tells me IF I remember!! Mendy Lowenthal knew how to do a great imitation - with the lights flashing on and off vechulu. Sounds familiar?
One funny thing I remember, standing in line waiting the buss to go home (golders green) after school and my big brother shmuli with mechel harger and hillel vogel calling me over and told me to shout out loud when miss Wotzen (remember her nails?) called my name by the role call SHUT UP!!!!! And so I did.......
Oh one more memory as sitting in Rabbi witkes's class and getting the FLICK boy did it hurt, yossi ever felt it?
I also thought I would venture on to the various teachers that we had. I then realised, that with Yossi T, Eli L and Avremi S that I should take the advice of an age old Chinese proverb, "Those in glass huts should not throw stones".....
Hehe, came across my mind too. I think though that the odd small poke of fun won't be taken to the heart, will it?
I was thinking back to english classes, and i thought our most victorious scheme was with that teacher who did't like being taken the "mug" of. Yossi, you remeber how we got rid of him! Had the whole class stamp their feet till he needed to go the "bathroom"!
