Maachal Demehemnusah

Here is a short interesting dvar torah relayed to me by Rabbi Wilhelm.
It is known that Matzah gives you
emunah. How is it that something physical like matzah can give you something spiritual as
emunah? This question can be taken deep, into understanding how food, a lower level than us, can keep us alive. But here is an interesting wanswer.
It is said that a child "
aino yodeah likro abba ad shyitom taam dagan" - a child does not know how say "abba" until he has tasted grain. A child when he is young is usually very close to his mother, to whom he sees is looking after him and feeding him. The father only starts getting recognition when the child grows up (eats grain/bread) and reaches a socalled stage of emunah - when he understands that his father is also looking after him.
We can make a comparison with this to matzah, that only when you are
toem taam dagan can you come to emunah.
It is interesting to note though, that "actions" always have to be followed by "contemplation". Whenever you do a mitzvah of some sort, e.g. matzah for emunah, you need to be
misbonen on the inyan inorder for you to get chayos from it.
